I listen to this kind of music and I feel myself. it's a whole genere that give me the feeling of crawling into a nice soft bed. Here is Big John Bates...he's a bit more on the Surfer Punk spectrum but maintains this fantastic sound through most of his works. (and note the go-go dancers again)

On the lighter end of the spectrum is The Creepshow, they keep the same rockabilly sound with a lighter edge in some songs like The Garden (the one below) or have taken on a heavier, more Rock sound with songs like Psycho Ball and Chain.

here's one that I'm sure many of you have heard of, Reverend Horton Heat from their song Psychobilly Freakout...here is an example of them at their best. they are true showman, and check out that awesome guitar work.

And here is a local group (well, local to me....) called Dead 50's they have a more mainstream punk interpretation, but the 50s influence in their musice is evident....infact, my wife works with the wife of one of the founders....I wonder if she knows....anyway...
