Shared on Thu, 10/09/2008 - 07:04Well, last night was quite fun, I started out making a corn bread battered barramundi, thanks to some inspiration from the wife…then we watched some DVR…like big bang Theory, then on to Viva Pinata…made some nice progress there…level 180 now…then after the wife fell asleep I jumped into Clan nit with 2old4Timmy, Ah COD4, my new fav. of the online games…we had a blast, I died so many times I’m surprised the servers didn’t boot me, out of mercy. It ended with me not understanding the meaning of *default snipers* and unloading with a semi-auto sniper rifle…not that it helped me much.
But from there everyone logged off, and I decided to mix it up with a random crowd…bad idea, from the mix of cursing Timmys, campers, and people glitching to get kills I was fed up, but I did have one fun/close match, most of my team, being the fit throwing Timmys dropped their controllers and refused to play because we were getting beat…so they all went and hid trying to frustrate the other team into quitting so they would not have to record a loss...I didn’t think it really mattered…well, I didn’t hide. And it’s a whole different game when it’s 5 vs 1 and they know what they are doing and where to so on the map…I ended up doing fairly well…still lost….but I managed to finish a few challenges, and even get another level.
But after that, I played some UT3…even found another UT3 fan to try to start a game night…
In other news, I will be working on that dam after work…After getting a better description, it sounds like a rock is jamming the flood gates…an east fix…if you are a diver.
But speaking of the water (I know that was a lame lead-in) I am going through one of those “Need to Fish” stages. I love fishing for big sport fish, I just don’t have a boat…so, if at some point I were to rent a boat and go after Stripers in the Chesapeake, or something bigger in open water, is there anyone interested in getting in on it…odds are it would be early next year before I can find the time to go.
