Going nuts…again

Have you ever had the perfect idea….the solution to a problem that has plagued you for long enough only to find out that your “solution” involves something that apparently doesn’t exist? Now I’m not talking time travel and worm holes….no, I’m talking about a 20” tall black wooden night stand with a single cabinet door….that’s all, that’s it….I can’t for the life of me find one online (that is for less that $370) I’m looking for a $20 laminated fiber board, assemble it yourself kind of thing that apparently is way too complex, even for Ikea…..actually I didn’t check Ikea…….

---------------------
Thank you internet for pointing me in the right direction….giving me hope, showing me the finish line….only to drop me back to where I started…..
Here is the exact thing I was looking for…..
but it’s white(I need black)….., the wheels are a bit big and ugly….and I’d have to drive 4 hours to get it…..and it’s still $100…..grrrrr……

anyway…..what started this all…
we have 2 360s hooked up in the living room, one is on the big TV, the other is hooked to a 20” LCD monitor.  for clan nights, my wife uses the TV, I use the monitor. Both systems are on the TV stand  the LCD sits next to that, so I unroll the wires and set the monitor on the coffee table to play.
Well, last night, I received an invite to play COD4….and I jump at it….shut down the main 360 move my profile to the other 360, turn it all on…..and I get nothing….I mean I hear the sound, but no picture….hmm…..I check the connections, check the monitor power….all looks fine….then I notice our oldest cat (Piedie) walk over and start chewing on a section of the VGA cable….yup….she must have been working on this for a while because while the outside cable is still mostly intact, the inside wires have been sliced to hell….I play with it a bit and get the occasional splash of yellow across the screen, but nothing else….so, I order a new VGA cable, scold the cat for about an hour (yeah, that did a lot of good)….and start shoping for a cart, or something to put the monitor on the cables in, so there’s only 1 (heavily wrapped, protected, and sealed) power cable coming out of the cart,  and prevent this from ever happening again…..so that’s why I need the cart….and why I’m half insane trying to find it….
The search continues…..

Wouldn't it be cheaper to get rid of the cat? :)
