Shared on Mon, 04/19/2010 - 14:42I was kind-of hoping for some sort of confirmation email or atleast happy-sounding background music to let me know I'm good to go.....but when I saw that the total number of tickets sold didn't change *edit*yup, no sooner do I post this then the ##s change...*/edit* I'm starting to get worried....did I get tickets? or did I accidentally send $180 into the void that is the internet....I know there are no paper tickets (because paper sucks and has no place in a gamer's life)...but is there a list somewhere saying who's in that we can check?
anyway....I'm going through an odd retro phase at the moment...I feel an overwhelming need to play Monster Hunter (1 or 2)... the last time I played that I was an off-line only gamer.. I didn't care to socialize, or deal with real people....but now with things being different, I could almost see draging the PS2, the old clunky external modem, and all those wired controllers and memery cards out again....who knows, maybe drag the old PS2 allong to the LAN (if anyone would be up for it) but with modern capabilities, it would be interesting to hook up the PS2, and use the party feature of XBL to actually keep up voice chat....no more having to drag out a keyboard and type "HELP!!!!!" in the middle of having a dragon chewing me into little bits.
