Shared on Mon, 10/19/2009 - 08:54Yes, it was a Brutal weekend, we started off with a bit of Brutal Legend, then tried some of the new live arcade games….then a bit more Brutal Legend, then watched some more South Park…then for something a bit different more Brutal Legend…like I said, a Brutal weekend.
But tomorrow will be a HUGE day. Borderlands releases. Yes, my local Game Stop is holding the midnight release….it’s a 1000-1 chance that I will be there at midnight. So, I'll just wait until after work tomorrow to pick it up.
Anyway, another thing for tomorrow, I will be receiving a new work computer…while I am happy they are getting me an up to date PC, I am not happy that they will be only permitting Office 07. I don’t like this whole “make it look like MAC and say it’s something new” trend. And the other issue, they will not let me hook up or set up my own PC, or load any patches to make office 07 look like the older versions of office. So instead of setting it up right the first time, I have to spend a majority of the day fixing what our IT people install….that should only take me about 4 hours to fix, while the others who received new PCs (2 weeks later) are still suffering issues. They can't even figure out what resolution settings to use...Grrr…why do they try to snuff out my geekdom?
