4 day weekend….

So, after my last blog post, I learned that the guy who “lost his marbles” actually has a speech impediment and a mental handicap and was in fact on the phone….to his mother….who only speaks Cambodian….so yeah, I went from thinking that I was keeping my shit together pretty well, to feeling like an idiot because I’m not bilingual AND I haven’t called my mother in like 2 weeks. However, a guy one isle over from me did drop over from a suspected heart attack today…so the stance that this office drains the life and sanity from anyone who works here still stands.

 

Anyway….there was mention of a LAN on Thick and Thin? Count me in….even though I left Chicago last time with a bad taste in my mouth, that was probably because of the traffic, tolls, strange road layout, and the thought of a 12hr drive home all while hung-over. But, whatever, the wife and I will be there (barring any weird work catastrophes) and we will try to stay awake later than 10:00 this time, apparently we missed ALL the fun.
