Disappointed in EA

So I was looking forward to Dante's Inferno coming out this week till I was looking for some gameplay vids and some reviews when I found a video on youtube. Anyone can do a quick search for it and it is supposed to be Christians protesting the release of the game. But doing some digging you find that EA went out and hired actors to come out and play to do a viral video add. Now I don't mind much but even my Muslim and atheist found rather offensive that EA would stoop so low as to do it. So sorry EA but this one won't even get rented.

Lap Dogs

So no this isn't a game. I'm talking about the people. I am really getting fed up with all the drama at my wife's university. To get you up to date: My wife started a new club called Anime Pwn at the school a year ago. It is just as the name implies a anime-video game club. It has been going great they have been able to go to the first Little Rock GameCon for free and even have funding from the university. These last couple of weeks a bad apple have of course appeared.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising

Ok so I just decided to try a game that has been begging me to since I saw it at the store. I don't know if anyone ever played the game by Novalogic Joint Operations, but if you take that awesome game and put better graphics on it you would have this game. I must say I was pleasantly surprised and must say did a double take to see who made it. I haven't had a chance to take a look at the muptiplayer because work and family has been hectic but I really hope it is as good as the campaign.

Rogue Warrior

I have to say when I first heard about this game I was excited, a FPS that has from what I heard a great storyline and made by Bethesda. Ok so the story is not bad and the graphics aren't bad either. However I have to say after a little way into the first mission you get tired of him commenting after every kill and grenade throw. Also the controls are a little odd but if you are used to playing anything by Bethesda then you should be fine. I still have to say I wish there would be more games out there with customizable controls.. oh well.

Wet --- truthfully it kind of sucks

So I must say it was a very disappointing game. They got a great actor to come in and do the voice and gave her 2 lines. Truthfully there is nothing really new in the game. Take John Woo's Stranglehold make it a female character and then take the controls response time and slow them down to half speed and you have WET. It really could have been a good game but they needed to spend more time fixing and testing before releasing. CG was OK kind of leaning to 360 side of graphics. I actually think this game would be better on that system.
