79 - The No Timers


So, I'm thinking that I'll have a shot at creating my own guild. I've never been keen on the 'hardcore' and 'casual' labels, but for lack of a better word, 'casual' will have to do for now.

I have an idea for a guild that is aimed solely at players, like myself, who have neither the time nor the inclination to log raid in the current end-game environment. The guild name I'm thinking of using will be 'The No Timers', and there would be no aspirations towards raiding at all - just a place for mature gamers to come and hang out with like-minded people.

Seriously - Jack Thompson, what the f**k?

No doubt many of you follow his antics/law practice. While his kerr-azy carrying on carries a little less weight for me, being on the far side of the pond, I nonetheless keep an eye on what he's up to.

Eep - just applied for a new job. WoW Insider put up an post, inviting people to apply for a job with the Joystiq Network either as a blogger or columnist about MMOs, presumably about WoW in general, but it wasn't specific. I've just sent off my application, even though I have left a bit late. I'm applying as a columnist, since there's no way I'd be able to blog as much as they're looking for - wish me luck.
