Album Of the Day... Really?

I use Metacritic a lot to get tipped off on new music that I normally wouldn't hear (I like a lot of different genres). Pandora works for music that sounds like something else, but Metacritic is my main source.

Anyway, their highest rated album of all time is a three way tie between Loretta Lynn (and I'm NOT listening to that, I don't care how high it's rated, this guy does not do country), Led Zeppelin's "How The West Was Won", and this album, by Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys.

Found Out...

And its another boy!

Pros:
- No paying for a wedding
- No cutting off the wang of the first to deflower her
- Hand me downs

Cons:
- none

(and for the record, there would be no cons if it were a girl :D )

I hope to be celebrating over a scotch and some fun with the Community get together. See you then and I expect congratulations and a free kill or two.

Rather than bore you with another installment of the AO new players guide (I know - but that went over so well, right?), I'll share some pics from my favorite site on the Intertubes, FailBlog.

Anarchy Online Complete Beginners Guide, Part 1

I have gotten BACK into Anarchy Online again, to scratch my MMO itch. I don't know what happened over the last few days but it has got me pretty good... once I struggled again mightily through the first 20 levels. But through a combination of some great folks in game who walked me through a lot of my questions and putting together a lot of disparate information on the web, I have finally gotten a grip on the basics.

Timmy Has NO ETHICS

I've been in the market for an affordable MacBook for a while. While I've been developing my iPhone app on my Hackintosh, I can't submit it without installing a developer's key on a real Mac... so I've been surfing the web and classifieds for one that isn't gimped and is fairly priced.

Well, I found an ad yesterday from someone selling a damaged MacBook. It gave a summary of the damage, so I knew what I was getting into, but I wondered if I could repair it.
