Wireless Xbox 360 adapter - correction
A correction on my previous blog, when setting up DD-WRT, you don't want to set it to be a client, you want it to be a "client bridge". The difference is when it is set to a client, your Xbox will be on a different subnet. I was able to play games on XBL just fine when it was set to a client but I was unable to stream music or pictures from the PC until I switched DD-WRT to a wireless bridge. I STILL cannot stream videos from the PC to the 360, it appears that Orb requires a faster CPU than my laptop. And I still haven't been able to borrow a PS3 to test.....

Ok quick question. Is there an advantage for streaming the video from a PC to xbox over plugging a PC into the TV?\r

I just got a long DVI to HDMI cable and a 2 head RCA audio cable and was going to plug it into the receiver that way.\r

Obviously no cables is an advantage of it's own. But anything else?\r

I wanted a seamless solution that my wife could pick up and do easily. Running cables,and having her use the computer is a bit over her head. \r

In your case, going straight from the PC to the TV is probably the way to go.
