Which Handheld Should I Get?

My youngest son keeps saying he wants a Nintendo DS.  Not sure where that came from since he is only 4.  Both boys are getting a Wii from Santa and the 5 year old is getting a basketball goal.  I am actually thinking about getting a handheld for the little guy.  They have Leapster handhelds but they get bored with them.  I don't think they are challenging enough.  I haven't even begun to look at these things.  Which handheld is the best?  How much are these things?  What games are good?

I like the DS - It's cheaper ($130) and it's a gaming system only unlike the PSP which is a browser, plays movies, games, etc. and has a higher price to prove it. \r \r For the DS, New Super Mario Brothers is awesome and you can't get a DS without getting Mario Kart. I also really like Worms...

I love the DS. Besides, the Nintendo games are better suited for the little guys...and they still have good games for us \"bigger\" kids. :D

the DS would probably suit the little guy better than a PSP. DS FTW! :D

He is good with video games. His momma doesn't know it but he has beat Halo 3 by himself. Of course, something I can play also is a big plus also. I think I will go look at these things. Thanks for the comments.
