I love the fact that, even though my truck was the one that got smacked while parked.  I still get to do all the leg work to get it fixed.  The other guy, gets to buy a  new signal lamp.  I have to find a new garage to get the body work done since the one I normally go to doesn't do body work anymore.  WTF.  And of course I have to wait for the other insurrance company do come take a look at it, that is, once they contact me.  He has Progressive which is supposed to be a good company, but is that good for the people that hold their policies, or the people that get damaged by their policy holders.  The things we put ourselves through in order to avoid our deductibles.

You're lucky the guy bothered to say anything. I've had serious damage from a hit and run four times. Each time, there was nothing I could do about it but suck it up since I had no idea who hit my parked car. And of course, nobody saw a thing.

Well, not to be Mr. Negative, but he didn't have much of a choice, the place he hit me is in direct line of site to the camera's they use in the front of the restaurant for security and for curb side pickup.\r \r But I agree, I even thanked the guy for sticking around.

They give you quotes from other insurance companies so you know they're good.
