Visit To The Dentist

So I go to the dentist this morning for a deep cleaning.  Turns out the dentist decided I needed to get two fillings instead.  He goes to numb me and he must have stuck me 10 or 11 times.  I have never been so numb in my entire life.  He fills them and sends me home.  That was at 8:30 this morning and it is now 2:00 and I am still a little numb.  I also have discovered that he built the fillings up too much and I can't shut my mouth correctly.  The back teeth on the opposite teeth do not close.  I guess I will have to go back and get him to grind a little bit off.  Maybe he won't have to stick me so many times when I go back.  I hate dentists.

I always do a little light excersing after the dentist numbs me. Seems like getting the heart rate up a bit works the numbness through the system a bit faster.

I've had that happen, took three visits to get things about right, and I still have a sensitive tooth.

That happened to me once but I find out until I had college finals and was bitting like a shark when I was sleeping. Needless to say my tooth became so sensitive I had to numb it with a bottle of Jack Daniels and a valium.

What work did you have done? \r \r I had to get a root canal recently. First one. In truth it didn't hurt. Had three one hour sessions every week, same tooth always. \r \r I think one of the reasons it didn't hurt is because I had a female doctor. Women's touch you know? Men are much more like butchers.

Im afraid to watch that video. \r I cant handle dentists. I have to take a Valium before I go so I dont run out screaming. Stitches, shots, needles you name it, I do fine with. But the sound of that drill makes me cry and hide.

I had a wisdom toothe extracted and I had it done under general anesthesia. There was no way I was going to be awake and listen to those sounds!
