Update on Teri's knee...and the SoCal Lan?

Well the Mrs. had a visit on Friday with her knee dr. and we have good news and other news..The good news is that she has done a great job on her physical therapy and has worked through any scar tissue that was hampering her flexibility, she has 115 degrees of flex now which is where the Dr. wanted her...

Now the other news...Since he is now able to get a better "feel" for the stability of the knee, he has now determined that the second surgery is needed...Fuck...So in the third week of June, Teri will be having orthoscopic surgery to replace her PCL...She then will be in an immobilizer brace so she cannot bend her knee, then week 5 & 6 she will be in a different brace that puts a little bit of bend in her knee and physical therapy can then start all over again...Below is a pic for reference.

So this means I have a high possibility of not being able to go to this years Chitown LAN. It will be difficult for Teri to get around. It all depends on how quickly her knee starts to heal...So I am very bumbed for her to have to do yet another surgery, and I am also very bumbed about the unlikelyhood of me not being able to attend. The only thing that might help is if the Lan is in later august or Sept. But in no way am I asking the lan be moved or planned for just one person...The good for the whole out weighs the needs of a few...But I can always hope...

Anyway...Let me start to talk about the Socal LAN...Well not really I am just going to post the link to the thread with the details...

MOTHER PUCKER

2 parts vodka

1 part Dekuyper Sour Apple Pucker Schnapps

Splash of Club soda

Splach of lemon-lime soda

Shake with the ice and strain into a shot glass

NAKED NAVEL

2 parts chilled vodka

1 part chilled peach schnapps

chill both bottles of liqueur in the freezer. Pour the vodka into a shot glass, then pour in the schnapps. The schnapps will form a ball in the bottom of the glass.

NASTY BITCH

3 parts chilled tequila

1 part chilled Cointreau

Chill both bottles of liqueur in the freezer. Mix in a shot glass.
