Today's stuff

So, my grandfather has decided that he want's as much done as possible for my grandmothers tumor.

The tumor itself measured 9cm by 4.6cm, which equals....holy shit thats huge, in medical lingo.

So it looks like she is going to be heading for the craniotomy, on the plus side, if it works, it will relieve the pressure and maybe some of the symptoms.  Or she may die during the procedure.  Both myself and my sister are more familiar with the entailed risks and benefits and while we don't agree with the decision, we have decided that it is better to keep quiet and avoid it becoming a family member versus family member arguement.  It would be better for them to be able to tell themselves that they tried what could be done, rather than to be left with wondering if they made the right decision if nothing was done.

Personally, I am fried.  No sleep really in the last two days, plus some Bullshit at work has left me a functional zombie more or less. 

I am taking tomorrow off to sit around the house, mow the lawn, play a game maybe and go to the hospital and visit.

I am off at the moment to Amsterdam, NY for a offsite lab clinic I have to run once a month for a few hours, then its right back to the hospital here to sit and visit and just think I suppose.
