Time For A Dog??????

About 5 years ago, I had to put down my golden retriever. Reba was the best dog in the world. When I moved to teach, I didn't know a soul. Reba was my only friend. We did everything together. The day I had to put her down was tough. Raising a family since then, I haven't even thought about getting a dog. Raising kids keeps me busy. The other day while dove hunting, I started thinking about another dog. Not sure if it is the right time or not. We are a fairly busy family. I don't want to not be able to give the proper time to a dog. The wife and kids are gung ho. They want a dog immediately. Making a decision takes me a little longer. So who thinks I need a new dog? How many people out there have dogs? Any lab owners? This time around I want a chocolate or black lab.

Ask SGTDuff he has hounds :) which need lovin and i heard he is in TN as well.

He is about an hour away from me. Unfortunately, I am not into hounds.

Get a Lab, they're awesome dog. Especially with kids. I have a 2 year old chocolate lab. He's massive, over 90 lbs. He's really a great dog. He's always happy, very smart and just a fun dog. \r \r He's the 4th lab I've owned (the other three were black) and I'll never get another breed.
