Thank you may not be enough....
But, here it goes. Friday evening around 5:15PM, or so, EST. I get a phone call from DSmooth and immediately he tells me to hold on, that he wants Doodi on the phone too. At this very moment, I thought to myself, then I spoke" Oh great, what did I do?" I thought I was gonna get banned for something I said, or posted. Seriously, I was ready for a BANHAMMER!!! Then, with all three of us on the line. D proceeds to tell me that with everything going on with Megan and with the holidays coming up, he told me that the site had taken up a donation and told me that the check would be there tomorrow 12/16/06. He told me how much and my jaw dropped. I mean dropped, as in, I had to pick it up off the ground. I was stunned. Stunned to the point where I was at a loss for words. I mean c'mon, Jolly at a loss for words? Yes, I was speechless and tearing up. Immediately I told them to hold on for a second, so I could give the phone to Stacy and I told them to tell her exactly what they told me. Niagra falls. I mean, what can you say to such generosity. All I have is 'Thank you' and 'God bless you all.' I have been on the giving end of this a number of times, and have always said "You don't need to say anything, we just wanted to help." Now the tables have been reversed and I am at a loss of words. Simply saying 'Thank you.' doesn't seem right. Stacy and I have been touched by all of you with your thoughts and prayers, and now this. I even read the Merry Christmas thread on Saturday afternoon and teared up reading it. I am overwhelmed with excitement and also humbled by all of this. There is going to be more to come, but I wanted to initially respond to the whole thing and tell you all thank you and have a Merry Christmas. Again, I will keep everyone posted on Megan. We love all of you and pray that God blesses you and your families well beyond your thoughts.
God is good all the time, and all the time God is good.
