Strange Days

You know, the more I see things happen around me and the more that I see things happening all over the world, the more I realize just how completely insignificant one person really is among the grand scheme of things. Last night I watched "Planet Earth" on Discovery Channel. I just can't fathom the fact that we are such a small part of this HUGE planet. It's amazing that day after day we pollute, detroy, and trash the Earth without even thinking about it. It's amazing to me that there is a treeline close to the north pole that represents 1/3 of the trees on the PLANET and that it controls a vast majority of the earth's O2 levels, yet 80% of the year it is covered in snow and ice.

I don't drive a Hybrid and I'm by no means a tree hugger, but damn dude I need to be more conscious of what I'm doing on a daily basis and I'm just talking about the small things like leaving the water running while shaving and brushing my teeth that impact our planet.
