Spamming the top blogs

I thought I'd share a Funny.


I've recently received criticism for posting 3 blogs within a 3 hour period.  I was told to "stop spamming the top blogs".  [View Image]


 


This confuses me, I must say.  Webster defines Spam as: unsolicited usually commercial e-mail sent to a large number of addresses. Side Note: I didn’t realize that the origin of the word came from a skit on Monty Python's Flying Circus in which chanting of the word Spam overrides the other dialogue in the skit (according to Webster’s)


 


 


If there is some rule in the 2o2p Conditions of Proper Use that I agreed to when I joined the site (and lets face it who really reads that stuff) that details the etiquette for proper time-spacing between blog postings, I’ll be more than happy to abide by that rule.   The last thing I want to do is offend people's sensibilities with my attempts at humour.

Until right now, I had no idea where the term Spam (in this context) originated either. But you spelled \"humor\" wrong ;)

It is generally frowned upon to have more than 1 blog in the \"Top Blogs\" header at once. By doing so you are knocking other peoples blogs off with your \"spam\". \r \r Either combine the content and post all at once, or space out the posts so you don't have 3 of your blogs in the header at once\r \r Hope that helps :lol:

Thanks Guys\r \r Those who know me know I'm PC and don't unnecessarily ruffle feathers. Gotta keep the masses happy.\r \r JP - thanks man! As Inka has said we do things differently up here in the frozen vocabulary waste-lands of the Great White North ... http://www.morewords.com/ends-with/our/ ... I tried to post a blog once, then the page refreshed and I lost it all. Never went back, so you can have my \"top blogs\" spot too.\r \r as for the more than one post in the top blogs section, too bad I say. I can't tell you how many times I've seen other people do it.\r \r If you have multiple things to say, and they're not in the slightest related, why should they have to be posted together? And why should you have to \"wait\" to post it? Courtesy is fine when you're holding a door for someone, but when it comes to sharing information, knowledge or wit... fuck the rest. \r \r That's my two bits.

Ive played a couple 2o2r clan games with you in the past and always liked your very Canadian accent. Just giving you shit - and blog away! The less bot spam I see in the blogs, the better.

Maybe it would be ok if you wrote 3 blogs about how you gave your boyfriend a hand job under the table at thanksgiving dinner to prove you were a big girl to your parents.

Tukker ... I tried to change it but for some reason it will not.\r \r I thought I was going to get one big-assed colts logo not this hypnotizing background.\r \r A little knowledge is a dangerous thing ... dangerous is spelled with a \"U\" in the States isn't it? 8) ... just messing with you JP!! :)
