I gotta say I was really impressed by this guy today who took time to teach me a few things I did not know.


I recently joined a shooting club ... if you don't like guns hit the "previous page" button on your browser ... and have been waiting for my Beretta to be delivered. i thought I would head down to the club just to hang out and get to know some of the guys. An older gentleman took the time to chat with me and saw I had come empty handed. Range A was full but Range B was empty. Being a range officer for the club he took me to Range B and took the time to show me the mechanics of shooting a hand gun.


He started me off with a .22. once he saw that i could consistently put the rounds on target he switched me to a S&W 686 ... sweet gun ... Stainless steel with a 6 inch barrel!


It wasn't just that this man gave me 50 rounds of .22 ammo and then 50 rounds of 357 ammo ... he was on his way home when I first arrived and took 90 minutes out of his day to teach me how to stand, proper hand grip and proper tripper squeeze!


He's obviously not on this forum ... but I wanted to give a call out to Mike for his generosity and patience.


 


PS - sorry this has nothing to do with gaming ... unless you want to call it FPS in real life!

that is pretty cool man and do not worry that it is not gaming related. This is your blog and you can pretty much say/post/do anything you want with it. I went to a range about a month ago and got to shot for the second time in my life. IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME! We shot at zombie targets with a 1911 and sig p220.

Nice. I once almost knocked myself out shooting a D. Eagle .50 cal. I knew it would kick, but holy hell, a girl with no upper body strength should NOT fire a .50 cal.
