So weird news... but pissing me off

I talked with a friend who works for the company I used to work for. I was let go because of lack of funding.

I find out that the company who took over everything a month before I was let go, let me go because I am Canadian. They also let go both UK Coders.

It explains why the project has stalled out... I really cant get over that...

Just US people working now.. damn im so pissed off..

Logistics.\r \r Many people have been fired for logistics reasons. Even great assets become expenses because relocation costs money. And money is #1.\r \r If they can get someone to do half as good as you for 25% less, guess who wins?

I was cheap tho. But being told I was let go for being Canadian stung.. but I have a cure.. 2.3 million lines of CODE that could make it on the net.. but im not evil and wouldnt do it..\r \r Oh if I was evil

Sorry about the news man. I cannot understand the lack of integrity and principals that led to these descisions,its just total crap!\r \r Will you need to relocate for similar work?

LOL @ Jedi.. I agree :P\r \r @OldManRiver48 I worked from home submitting work every day or week (depending) and tons of online work. I am now working again from home, luckily or hopefully never again have to work out side of the home.

I can't see them letting you go because youre Canadian. That would be like firing someone because they're black and have a lawsuit written all over it. Either way sorry to hear you lost your job. Good luck on finding a new one.
