So close….

Many months ago Halo Reach was unleashed on the world, I played the campaign start to finish, then started immediately on the Legendary solo play through. then other games released, Reach got buried in the building stacks of games….until 2 nights ago, I broke it out, and picked up right where I left off. I played late each night, and last night, I made it to the end…..but I didn’t finish it. 20 deaths in that stupid cannon and I can’t seem to survive the 45 seconds it takes to finish the story. By then it was 12:30 in the morning and I had to get up at 5. So here I sit, itching to finish up this day so I can probably die another 50 times trying to get past that one point.

The really funny part is that the section of the game I figured would give me the most trouble, (protecting Halsey in that cave) went by easily, I only died once in that entire section. But just getting to that gun in the end took me the better part of 2 hours thanks to having absolutely no ammo after facing those waves of brutes….but one thing is certain, tonight I WILL be finishing my solo legendary play through.

Here is a tip...............get in the cannon, then jump back out and run back into the building. Don't go back until you're told to shoot down the ship. Then it's a piece of cake.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

I have had the same issue. I want to finish on Legendary, but it gets pushed to the side.\r \r @buckeye75 Kinda cheap, but hell, if it works. Will give it a go when I reach that point.

@buckeye75 using your tactic I beat it last night, I was half asleep and actually slept through the last stand at the end, but I still ended up with the 325 points for the 2 higher difficulties and the solo legendary, bringing my gamer score up to 111,380
