Well, I didn't get it for my birthday, but I got accepted into the Halo3 Beta under the rule of three! I am so excited but there is a part of me that is thinking, "Can it live up to its hype?" I mean Halo2 was colossial! If Mario defined gaming in the eighties; than surely Halo has defined gaming in this decade. I look at all my friends and our taste in games is diverse but we all shared a love for Halo2 (some of us still do).  Finish the Fight is such an excellent title. How did one game pull together all of us? Will it really do it again?

I think it will....they will just build off what worked. that said though remember this is a beta, it will be full of bugs and glitches. I think people will be to hyped up to remember that this beta isnt what we will get in Nov

Bungie will deliver, I just have a feeling the games SP aspect wont be great.. just average..

Congrats CapN, its going to be cool, better you then me I couldnt take the withdrawl after they take it away when the beta is over. Oh and yes it can live up to the hype, as long as they dont mess with the core of the game and screw up the controls or weapons like they did on COD3.
