R. Lee Ermey Alive and Well

About 4 days ago a member on our site posted a nasty rumor disguised as truth that actor and former marine R. Lee Ermey was dead. As many of you already know this rumor is completely false. We had the opportunity to speak with R. Lee Ermey people today and were assured he is very much alive and well. We want every one to understand that 2old2play does NOT condone this type of behavior and remind its members that their ideas and opinions posted on 2old2play are their own. Be smart with what you say and how you say it.


We also wanted to post this blog to make sure all the members of 2old2play understand how dangerous it can be to post false or fake information as truth especially when it comes to something as serious as ones life or death. On top of that when dealing with celebrity of any kind you put yourself and this website at risk when posting false information that could be view as slanderous and/or a defamation of character.


We thank the people at R. Lee Ermey's management team for bringing this post to our attention and wish him well in all future endeavors in life and on the silver screen.


Again, think before you post.

Ruh roh shaggy......\r \r \r Da interwebz is a dangerous place. I think people forget that the blog section here is public and not a private/hidden area.\r \r Glad to ear no ill feelings with R Lee.

Glad to see that some sort of action was taken for that blog, it was in extremely poor taste. I have been a fan of the Gunney since I first saw FMJ and was saddened to read that blog about his \"supposed death\".

yeah... It was a prank... but a prank without purpose. It leaves you going... whaaaa??\r \r I still don't know who that guy is though.... I'm such a girl.

Evidence that the website is on some big radars outside of the gaming circles, but these were some pretty bad circumstances for that realization to come about. Glad to hear doodi and dsmooth dissolved what could have been a rough situation. Great job guys.

Wow.... glad he is alright and the site did not get in to to much trouble.... \r \r Now I just wish someone from Capt. Phil's camp would say his death was a big misunderstanding... watching deadliest catch makes me sad.
