Our new downstairs powder room
You know the joke that if you do any home repair that its going to cost twice as much and take twice as long as you think it will? This job proved that theory true. Except we took three times as long ;)
The owner of our house three years ago was trying to update the house to sell, so they did quite a few cosmetic fix-ups. While I’m sure they did their best, there are certain flooring issues because of what they did. One of them was the peel and stick tiles they used in all the bathrooms. They didn't pull out the toilet, they just cut the tiles around it. Then they didn't Calk. Add in their little boys, the next owner’s kitty litter box, and my little boys, and you get a very stinky bathroom.
Here is the before Shot. The color isnt a bad color, just bad for that small of a space. Even from this far back you can see the gaps in the tiles.

The flash did funny stuff to the toilet and sink, they look cream here, but IRL they are white too.
