We're, apparently, officially assimilated into the new company, now we just "rest and vest" - oh wait, no, we don't. We just do what we were doing before but don't have any real incentive to work from.

Well, unless you call the incentive my interview tomorrow. Now I just have to figure out my excuse for not coming into work. I think I'm going to do the "work from home" thing tomorrow, VPN software from the new company is active (or so they say) so maybe I'll do a little work after I take off the suit and tie.

Maybe not. I dunno.

Yeah, don't do a \"sick day\" or worse, take a half day and then show up all dressed up....I let the cat outta the bag a little early myself one time doing that.

Well, I've already asked for references from my old boss, and made it clear that I'm more than just a \"flight risk\" to many folks.
