Today is the big day.  Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 is coming out.  I loved the first one.  Loved the terrorist hunts.  It was the 2nd game I bought with my new system.  Since then I have played many games.  Some I have loved, others not so much.  Currently I am playing COD4 and loving it.  It is probably my favorite game ever.  Last night I decided to put RB6 Vegas 1 in to refamiliarize myself with the controls.  I decided to do a terrorist hunt.  I played for about 30-40 minutes.  That is all I could take.  I don't know if it was because the button layout had me confused or what.  I hated it.  It is so much slower paced than COD4.  It was almost painful.  I use to love the ability to hide at a corner and stick my head out a blast somebody.  Last night it just seemed so clunky.  Now don't get me wrong, I will be going to pick up my copy of Vegas 2 after work today but I am just not excited about it like I should be.

I agree with you man..I'm getting RBS 2 because people on my friends list are getting it.. It will not replace COD4

Yeah it will take a little while to get used to the slower pace. I think I read somewhere that RSV 2 has a sprint feature now. So hopefully that will help speed things up just a little bit.

I use to feel the same way about COD4. I thought the pace was too fast. Now I love it.

I like the slower pace. To me it adds a certain intensity to the game that the fast paced run-n-gun can't provide. It's not that I don't like the faster pace of H3 or COD4 at times, but the change of pace is what will keep gaming fresh for me.
