New to PC gaming.

I thought if I was able to get some boo-coo overtime (didn't happen) I'd invest in a gaming lap-top computer. Last might on Attack of the Show they featured a Asus G73 JH-A1 and gave it very high marks. Any thoughts from the masses here? Probably not the correct area (I know, I know.......), but I found the idea (pie-in-the-sky_) interesting and I just got back from BestBuy perusing the games and equipment. Looked over Amazon hoping for  non-Troll reviews and really didn't understand half of the posts (Asus Radeon HD 5970's in crossfire,  external ESATA ports, eyefinity, 4 SODIMM sockets...etc).


PC Gamer seem to be the only magazine out there at least on the shelf I was looking at.


Maybe take gaming further with StarCraft, Tropico, The SIMs and Civilization series?

I've been looking at the m11x which they only gave a 4 out of 5. The Asus I see they gave a 5 out of 5. \"In our 3D-mark-vantage tests, it blew away the other competition this week, and any other laptop we've reviewed ever.\" Sounds like a winner to me!
