Never thought I'd say this, but glad I haven't been gaming
As some of my friends may have noticed, I have been MIA on XBL for the past few weeks. The main reason for my absence is that my girlfriend purchased our first home a few weeks ago, so the honey-do list was already started before we even got the keys. Over the next few days(and probably weeks) i will be chronicaling the changes we make and how much of my hair I lost in the process. I will try to post as many pictures as I can along the way. Since I have a few weeks headstart, i will give an abridged version of what has been going on.
Changes that have been made so far include:
Changing door locks
Paint in all the bedrooms (done by a pro, my girl didn't want the tie-dye carpets that would have been the result of me painting)
Taming the jungle in the backyard
Had the carpets cleaned
Countless trips to various stores looking for crap to be put into the house

The girlfriend plans on turning this into a guest bedroom, so if any of my friends plan on getting drunk to the point they have to stay over, they have to suffer the consequences and stay in the purple room!!!

More details to come as to what will be going in here (doubt it will be as nice as some of the set-ups I have see, but it will be my fortress of solitude that doesn't have a toilet)
