Need Help Identifying Medal
My wife went today to get some things her grandmother left her when she passed away. One of the items was this medal. Not sure if it was her grandfather's who she thinks was in the Army or her dad's who was in the Air Force. I have searched and could not find it anywhere. Anybody else out there know what this is?

It is not a military medal. That is a Masonic Knights Templar medal.
Tasty is right, I think its called an Order of Malta Jewel.
