My wife is more popular than I am.

MY wife as the director of admissions for a small Christian college. On Wednesday, she had a speaking engagement for a local business club. Evidently she has a really clever speech that she gives about leadership and education. In this speech she makes fun of me for being a sci-fi geek. I've never heard the speech, but it was so popular with the crowd at the luncheon, that it made the front page of our newspaper! Needless to say, her boss is very happy for the publicity. I think my wife is awesome and I'm glad that she has a job she loves and excells at. I'm a little torn because her popularity is at my expense though! The article is not up on theh papers' web page so I can't post a link, but I'm proud of her nontheless.

Nothing wrong with being a sci-fi geek. I am sure no one thinks less of you because of it jtgjr, perhaps it was such a popular speech because there are a lot of sci-fi geeks in the business club. Sci-Fi geeks are in, i.e. Hiro. :)
