My First 2o2p Blog.

Malleus

Hello everyone. This blog is just to let everyone know a little about me. My name is Chris (aka Malleus)  I'm 29 years old (and feeling it). I'm recently divorced with 3 children ages 6-11. which I would love to see more often.

I really dont know what to say.  I do know that I created some static (unintentionally) on this site with the egotistical, brawny comments I have made in regards to Windows, Windows Movie Maker, and WMV files, as well as dropping pro names who are on my FL.  I apologize for all these comments. I will probably be a little less outspoken in the forums until people get to know me better. And I wont drop any more names of people on my XBL Friend List ever again. This is my apology.

Moving on,  I'd like to say I really like this site.  It lets me see that there are people playing games that are my age, and that makes me feel less alienated.  I would like to get know you guys more as individuals, and play games with gamers more my age, rather than joining MM by myself and allways teaming up with Timmies.  I think this site has a lot going for it, and look forward to gaming with alot of users here.  The only game I play (and can afford) is Halo 3, in which I'm ranked at a fairly decent 43.  Hopefully with me finding this site, I'll find some pretty good H3 gamers to play with and get to know them and finally get my Brigidier.  I play A LOT (understatement), and would probably fall into the "addict" field.  This might be due to my divorce, IDK.  That and the fact, I dont find much on TV that is interesting.

However, my current interests are:  Bowling, Playing pool, swimming, watching Rally racing, hanging out on the beach and trying to put some color on my pale body.  I dont drink regularly at all, and dont like the bar scene.  I like to smoke *ahem* on occasion. (Should I have mentioned that)?  I also have a passion for show style cars.  I love it when Daytona has their annual Turkey Rod Run.  When I get the money,  I'll proably be looking for friends who share this passion. On the same level, I'm mechanicly declined. I have no aspirations to become a "gear head".  Since these cars will hardly ever see a racetrack,  I dont care to know how fast it is, as compared to how fast it looks.  Watching T&A will always be a great hobby too, so when Bike Week gets here, and Spring Break, I like to hang out near Main St. to see the action go by.

I hate to admit it, but my current employment situation is outa control.  I"m currently in a "Beach Bum" phase I guess, and really dont want a career as opposed to a business.  I am a very self sufficient, independent person.  I like to be in control of my finances, and have many goals in which I would like to achieve.  As well as to be financially independant, some of my short term goals are to get a car, and build a business.  Right now, I'm in between jobs, but the employment market here, compared to where I used to live, sucks.  I'm seriouslyy considering employment in fast food/convenient stores, because I cant seem to find a decent job around here.  I'm barely getting by with eBay.  I just earned a yellow star (woot woot!) so I'm happy about that.  I hope to be on my feet soon, and start buying at  auctions/estate sales/flea markets, etc. to sell items on ebay.  I currently have a pretty cool relationship with a wholesale dropshipper, whose items are paying my bills and they ship my items for next to nothing with my name in the From field, so thats pretty cool.

I have an older Girlfriend, (39) whom I'm falling head over heals for.  I'm not sure if thats good or bad.  Her name is Lori and she's a Registered Nurse, and has a heart of gold. I keep praying to God one day she will want to pick up a 360 controller and game with me, but It doesnt look good in that department. LOL  She lives 2 hours away though, and a lot of times, I feel upset when she doesnt come to see me. She has 2 teenage daughters, and for some reason they make me nervous as hell. She works harder than most, so I'll give her that.  Recently she let her roomate hack off her long beautiful brown hair, and I'm waiting on it to grow back.  She's smart, hardworking, caring, and fun. I'm not planning on ever married ever again, but this may turn out to be a pretty long, involved relationship. She truly is one of a kind.

Well, Just thought I'd like to share some things about me.  Thanks for reading my first blog. Looking forward to meeting alot of people here, and making new friends. Also, sorry about my first few posts, I'm not really an asshole.  Hopefully I'll find some people here that live close by and we can LAN  together, that would be really sweet.  Hopefully though, I'll get to know a lot of you and play H3 with you guys until I can get enough money to buy COD4.  Until then I look forward to meeting you guys on Xbox Live.

Hey, welcome to the site! I'm sorry about your recent divorce and employment issues. Hopefully things will take a turn for the better. Your new GF sounds awesome...you sound like you're lucky there. :D\r \r I wouldn't sweat the cockiness and name dropping, there's certainly a lot of ego on this site, and I don't see that there's not room for more. \r \r Again, welcome to the site! It is a good place, you just gotta know where to go. LOL
