My Evil Corporation is better than your Evil Corporation
I am an Xbox man. I also have a deep affinity for Nintendo. Does anybody hate Nintendo?
Sony, however, seems to get no love. I will admit to smug satisfaction over the PS3 travails, but I think it is a little 2 one-sided on the site.
Most of us are fanboys of one console, or PC, over another, and I think some good natured rivalry is fun. If I were a Sony dude, I think the negative stories and comments would wear thin after awhile. Just a thought.

I think this is all short-lived. It is only a matter of time until Sony gets some great product out there and they fix some details in their service that are lacking. \r

I know a lot of people like to see the underdog (hard to imagine MS as an underdog) gets some shots in on the favorite. Of course when there's some real competition we'll see who the real fanboys are! \r

In the end I think all gamers are going to have some amazing products - stuff I never thought I'd see in my lifetime. Every now and then I pull out my Intellivision and play Astrosmash just to remember what it used to be like.
Looks like Sony is getting kudos for the blue-ray being very affordable in that comparison. Demand and satisfaction outside the gaming world will up their rep even if they dont get it by gaming satifaction it appears.
