Much better

All it takes to make me happy, is leaving work early, drinking a few beers, watching Futurama and Star Trek TNG, drinking some scotch, then some more beer.   I'm feeling much better now.  Atleast I should have a new keyboard waiting for me at home this evening and I should be able to get in some better PC gaming and be one step closer to being WoW capable.

Next step for the PC; a better video card, and cpu (possibly a whole motherboard capable of taking more than a gig of ram).  Anyone have any other suggestions?  Also I still have to get my wife's laptop running.

again here are my current stats;

Pentium 4 1.8ghz in a 400mhz bus

.75gig of ram

I think its a 64mb vid card but it might be 128

Judging from the specs, I'm guessing it's an older computer and upgrading might be more expensive than it's worth. Have you looked into buying/building something new? I built a screaming fast PC for less than $400 earlier this year, all it needs for gaming is a video card.

I'm primarily looking to get mid-performance from WoW, I'm a bit close to be basic requirements than I like, but I think I should be able to find a mid-range dual core motherboard, and parts with relative ease.
