For those of you who haven't heard it.  There is a Kid Rock (bleck) song on the radio lately called "All summer long" which is pretty much, I think the worst song I have ever heard in my life.  Asides from the fact that it rapes "Sweet Home Alabama" by using the same musicical backbone, basically its a full sample with just different words.


 


This song fills me with such rage that I could do somethign aweful involving a spork and a human eye.


 


God damnit it to hell, I should not be put through this much torture, this early in the morning.  It kind of sets a tone for the day.


 


And no, I can't change the station, since this raging horse shit of a radio station is the only one that comes in that doesn't offend my overly religious technical staff.   I'm not joking about that either.  She sits here and when she isn't working, she is reading her bible.  I think its a bible at least.  Its in a different language that I know the name of but can not think of at the moment, she is from Egypt and I think if it wasn't for religious study, she wouldn't do anything at all, ever.

I completely agree, I have to keep my headphones turned down very low because in interrupts the person next to me, if she hears my \"Satan music\" she spends most of the rest of the day humming hymns. And that’s just her response to the Clash, or Rancid, I’m always tempted to throw in a Disturbed CD or put up a Gwar poster just to see how she reacts….it might even be worth the mandatory sensitivity training….I even had to argue about the framed magazine art I have of Master Chief because he “looks like he might be evil” I feel your pain…

I wish I could. But my position doesn't allow for that sort of thing. Except on the weekends when I am here by myself for call.

She reading the Qoran maybe. If she gets offended by your music choice, tell her to go read on the crapper. If she's allowed to read her bible at her desk, then you should be allowed to listen to your choice of music. \r She's not asking you to learn her religion, you're not asking for her to listen to you music.

Nope, its definately not the qoran/koran, she is strict catholic/christian. Its like the uber orthodox that I won't even pretend to understand. All I know is she doesn;t mind working Christmas because her religion has Christmas the following week.
