More Questions

My 360 passed away last night. (See post below)  I have slept on it and I am going to go and get an Elite later today or tomorrow.  I want to make sure I am doing things right.  I use a 22" monitor to play on.  I bought a cord off ebay to hook up the 360 to the monitor.  Will that same cord connect a new Elite to the monitor or are they different?   Just want to know what I need if I go and buy the Elite.  I would hate to take it home and not be able to use it.
