Leaking sink + Gravity + Floorboards + Gravity again + Xbox360 + Entertainment center + Collection of books + Home Theater system =


Baine having a very very bad day.

I got home last night to find the sink running, which I later narrowed down to a leaking in one of the gasket seals, it had flowed around the counter, drained to the floor, drained through the floor, through the drop ceiling in the basement and gone directly to my gaming setup and a bunch of my books.


My initial estimate was that everything was trashed.  And of course I have no money to my name right now and for the immediate future so I can't replace anything....ie, I'm not pleased.


So far it seems the TV is ok, it was pretty well covered with the overhang of the entertainment center...jury is out on other stuff though.

Thats fucking weird man.... I had the same problem about a week and a half ago. Well almost the same, the shit load of water that ended up in the basement was in an area with nothing of value there, so nothing got wet but the floor.\r \r Hope your stuff still works

Thanks, I am hoping to salvage something. My plug n play charger thingy for the 360 controllers literally poured water out of it when I picked it up...so that's a dead one.

Geese man, that's rough. I hope you can salvage at least the box and a few games. \r \r I feel akward about giving the ole' plus 1. I mean it's like I'm celebrating your shit getting trashed. So...+1?
