That 1000 page health care reform bill is passing the rounds in congress today again, and all I can think about is how awesome it would be if we had President that would veto any bill that large and stamp with a big:

That is internet shorthand for, “Too long; did not read.” The Constitution is only 6 pages. If you can frame the backbone of our government in only 6 pages, shouldn’t legislation try and match that brevity?

The offered \"alternative\" is a 19 page proposal with no numbers. So, should it be 140 characters or less? :)

The \"19 page proposal with no numbers\" \"alternative\" is a budget proposal the republicans put together last March. ??? I don't think I understand your point, but let's make one thing clear.\r \r There are two parties of FAIL in power right now. They are competing to see which one can FAIL harder. A 1000 page reform bill is FAIL. A budget proposal with no numbers is FAIL. Bickering over party semantics is FAIL. Politicians need to concentrate on improving our country, instead of doing what they can to keep / put their party in power.

I'll give you thumbs up just for that last comment.\r \r I'm also willing to bet most of the Senators and members of Congress have not read it either. Probably a \"I get the gist\" kind of thing.
