My tickets for The Police tour in August showed up yesterday.


I know its a pricey concert but the only tickets I was able to afford were lawn seats.  At 46bucks a piece, these are still closest the priciest tickets to a concert I have ever paid.


I am not complaining however, I have always wanted to see The Police, I have been a Gigantic fan since I was a teen..well after they broke up.  So this is my one good chance to see them.  They are playing local which is great becaues we can make a day of it and get in to get as good of a spot as possible. 


The indoor seats are 231.00 a piece...HOLY shit burgers batman...No WAY in hell can I afford two of those bastards for me and my darling wife.


I am really looking forward to this, I realize their time came and went a while ago....and the music will be all  "funky raggae" styled now...but.


Its the Mother Trucking Police FFS.

That's a great price and I would think it would be an awesome concert. I've never seen them live but am assuming it will be a hell of a show. Is anyone opening for them?

Why spend the money when we can just play Police songs in Rock Band.

No kidding Elvis Costello? I'd love to see him in concert. The police too.\r \r And thank God that now if someone screams is there a Chief Vascular Tech in the house you'll be there.

Yeah Elvis Costello is a great bonus. I need to look up whether that tour is coming out this way.

The nice part is its on a Friday evening, so i can take the day off and not worry about having to be up the next morning to work.\r
