Back when TV was just three channels, I used to watch Kitty Carlisle, Orson Beane,  and Peggy Cass on To Tell The Truth. It had to be the early seventies.

I remember thinking even then, who are these people? What had they done, or what had they not done, to get them on a TV game show.  I wonder what has-beens in my prime now absorb too much time and attention for today's kids.

Do you remember this show? Who in your era sucks up more air than deserved?

I love reality TV, but even I'm saying it's gotten out of control. So it's not one person who is sucking up too much air, but a concept. The good ones are still good (Survivor) but the bad ones are just BAD (I'm looking at you \"PussyCat Dalls: The Search for the Next Doll.\")

I agree with J-Cat's assessment - the good is good but the bad is overplayed and the concepts are washing very thin. I'm really becomng a fan of less is more.\r \r That said I must confess..I'm a Survivor fan. The social dynamic aspect never fails to capture my interest and I always appreciate the ingenuity shown to keep the contestants guessing.\r \r BTW- Eternal Darkness *is* a fantastic game and really plays with the Lovecraft concepts of insanity and horror well, at least in my view :). I hope you've been having fun with it too?\r \r -Maxxie
