Its a blizzard.

Well its been upgraded to a blizzard.  Visability is down to about 25 feet distant.  My company is discussing closing early today due to the weather, hopefully this doesn't mean I will be on call and have to come in if someone needs something, that would be BS.

As far as my scheduled patients....

The patient for a test because of a non-healing wound, cancelled.

The patient to check for a abdominal aortic aneurysm cancelled.

The patient to check for a deep venous thrombosis...cancelled.

The patient that has a varicosed vein she wants taken care of becuase it looks icky, showed up.

The ability of people to judge situations versus their probability of surviving a accident is just frightening.  No survival instinct at all I suppose.  This ninkumpoop will probably end up hitting a minivan full of nuns on her way home for this appointment.  People scare me.
