Irony

Blogs are ironic.

On the one hand, we want to "be known" by people - to let them into our world and want to stay (but, please, don't move anything - and don't put your feet on my furniture!).

On the other hand, sometimes our thoughts would provoke a reaction from others. Those doubts, insecurities, fears. The visions of dressing up like a gnome and dancing in a public place. Visions of going to Chuck E Cheese without a child just to play skeeball.

So, blogging becomes ironic. Considering my lifetime search for irony, you'd think I'd be pleased. But, I still have to live with my thoughts.
