interesting

Last night I tried something new….well, it’s not new, but new to me. I’m trying to 14 day free trial of EVE Online.   Yeah, its actually kinda fun…fun in a way that I can play it on the laptop while I’m playing Dragon Age on the 360. I started the game choosing a miner for my profession….since I hear that is the thing to do in this game.  and it is SLOW as far as game play goes, but it’s more of a tranquil kind of slow. The biggest problem I have found is that as a Miner, I can’t find anything to mine. and it’s not like the game has fantastic planets to visit….unless you like orbiting them….

Overall it’s neat, a good idea for a game, but unless there are people here who play it and can give me a bit of direction I can’t see committing to $15 a month for it.

I’m actually considering using the free trials for any MMOs I can come across…I doubt I’ll stick with any of them past the 14 days, but if there’s any one out there who can suggest one  that can really suck me in, I’ll give it a shot….and any truly 100% free MMO suggestions anyone might have would be awesome. ( I plan to save WoW until I have no other choice because I have a bad feeling that it would be very bad for my marriage).
