I need game suggestions:

More specifically for my Mame console project.

Mostly what I have selected so far are all the fighters...from Art of Fighting through Samurai Shodown V.

But I need some suggestions for other games. Got a few goodies like TMNT IV and D&D on there....but need more shooters and the like.

So if you all would be so kind as to suggest games that you would put in your own arcade console. (keep in mind though that I cant do the stuff the controls through a spinner or trackball. Just  joystick controls.) It would be appreciated.

Just an idea......an old arcade game Gorf, was partly an accumulation of different games-Space Invaders and Galaga were part of it. Might mix some new w/old, a thought.

I don't know if it would work but, Centipede was my favorite of all arcade games. Yes, it was played with a roller, but I don't see why a joy stick wouldn't be able to work. But, I don't know enough about Mame consoles to know.

hehe got Simpsons and Tetris. I'll see if I can get Gauntlet. And Tetris is a must!\r \r Moooooore! Moooooooore! hehe.

X-Men : just like TMNT and Simpsons\r Dragon's Lair: doesn't still need a laserdisc, does it?\r Defender : old-school never-ending fun \r \r

Dunno if Dragon's Lair is on mame or not. I'll have to look.\r \r I'll snag X-men and Defender as well. \r \r Good stuff.

It's probably not. I just remembered that it and the subsequent sequels as being a major source of my lost income as a kid. ;)
