I'm feeling wings though I've never flown..
It's getting late on a Monday night but before I slip away to dreamland, I wanted to sit down & jot a few things for you.
DavEel & I went to PB Bra & Grill tonight for sushi mondays & I ended up winning some free tickets to a couple haunted houses around town.. very nice.
Tried the Oktoberfest that Becks put out & it's nowhere near as good as the Karl Strauss version but I definitely like it more than the Sam Adams sort.
Am looking into joining a cauasl runner's club here in SoCal & I think I'm going to start perusing Craigslist to maybe find a group. Winter is an infamously bastard season when it comes to staying in shape so I'm scouting around now to get a good head start.
I wish I had a friend out here that spoke fluent Spanish (besides my good friend Hector who is laid up for a while with his motorcycle accident) that could help me further mine along.. I talk to the ladies at the burrito shop in Spanish & now I can order anything on the menu but I'm looking to branch out of fast food a little. =)
If only I had a pretty little tutor.. Ahhhh.... (That's me wishing)
The muzak scene out here in SoCal is so nice.. With so many eclectic folks gathered in one area, there's always something for everyone.
Next Monday, I'm heading out to the Casbah to see a band called "Black Mountain", which may or may not refer to a big ol' mound of hashish. You should come with! First rounds on me. I'd love comapny.. =) They play classic-rock / bluesy acoustics.
Can't wait.
Thought a lot about my puppy today. (Yes, this is sappy part, feel free to scroll down to the bottom.) I had to buy him some more arthritis & flea medicines & some greeny weenys.. My baby whitey is living in Florida for the time being but hopefully one day he'll be on a jet plane back to see me. Raaba Slaaba..
I'm in an ANXIOUS mood to go to Vegas SOON.
I've been wanting to go now for a few months & I think this is the longest I've gone without visiting in quite a while. Let's Go!!!!
Other than that, there's a slim chance I might be going camping with Sam & friends next weekend but I've got the duty blues on Friday so we'll see. I wouldn't be able to leave until Saturday & they might be packing & on the way back home by then.. It's in the air for now.

P.S. Eel, let's make a date for the tattoo parlor babe. My skin is craving the needle. If anything, we need to go in there & give them the drawings so they can get 'em ready for inking.
