I Lost A Dear Friend Today
My Casio G-Shock finally died today after being my friend for close to 12 years. I am at a loss. Not sure what to say. I am lost without a watch. I have found myself staring at the white strip on my arm all morning. I just found the information on the web on where to send it for possible repair. It is going to take a couple of weeks. Not sure what I am going to do without it. I can't go that long without a watch. I may just have to buy a new one. Problem is they don't make this model anymore. Anybody else out there attached to their watch like I am? Aybody have any recommendations for a new watch?

Same here, H2. I couldn't be without a watch. Is it worth getting repaired? Just buy a new one.
Watches are so 1980.....or am I thinking of Swatches?

It just needs a battery probably. Problem is you have to send it to Casio, let them tell you that is the problem (by snail mail), pay them and then get your watch back. Looks like it is going to take more than a month. I have a dress watch that I don't like with a dead battery also. Researching watches, I like this one and it seems to be getting a lot of good reviews.\r

Know what you mean H2 I've replaced this model twice with the same thing since I was in high school many years ago. My digital Snuggie I suppose.
