I have a new toy!

I got a PS3 for Christmas.  I have been a Playstation fan for a long time but that price was just a little to rich for my blood.  I am a gamer on a budget!  Anyways, I had my xbox360 for a couple of years now and certainly now see why Live is so good.  Yes, I pay for online gaming but when I online game on the PS3 side there is a lot missing.  I think of my Xbox as my social console and my ps3 as my gaming console. 

When I say gaming console I mean the variety of titles.  I really like all genres of games and there seems to be much more diversity on the PS3 side.  For single player games the PS3 is the console for me.   I bought into the playstation plus subscription and since Christmas I have downloaded titles I haven't even touched yet.  And they are all great titles! 

I have not been around in a while but now that summer is dying down and my kids go back to school I hope to pick back up on the site and start looking for PS3 friends...it's a little lonely here!  So if you are part of the Playstation Nation let me know and send me some invites!  I have am currently playing MW3 (not seriously but it seems to be the most popular shooter), Killzone 3 (I dig it, but I know it's getting up there in age), and Uncharted 3 multiplayer.  I also have SOCOM U.S. Navy Seals but I see nothing but negativity surrounding that game.  I have BF3 for the Xbox but willing to switch around if I get enough friends.  I would also consider Starhawk but it also looks like a very niche game.  Let me know what the old farts are playing on PS3!
