I compile news headlines from around the internet and bring them here so people save time finding the latest 360 news.\r \r As for original thoughts, yes i would if the submission process for the front page news stories was better. It used to be good which is when i did all my editorials and what not but it's just not worth it anymore in my opinion to bother. A lot of my stuff is breaking news stuff and when it takes a 5-7 days to get something published here, it's too late and old news by then. So when that system gets streamlined hopefully with v3, i'll return to doing that stuff. But for now, it's not worth my time.

I hope the multiplayer in bioshock 2 does not take away from the single player experinece. I'm not sure I'm buying a need for multiplayer there.

I don't think MP in Bio2 will take away from the single player since 2K is farming it out to digital extremes. If 2K were working on it themselves, then ther would be need for concern.\r \r I just question if DE is the right shop for the job. They havne't really done much except port unreal tournament from PC to consoles.\r \r

MMOs on consoles would be cool. Its gonna happen, and there will be a lot of \"MMO\" type junk released until one gets it right as it is explored.

those are some interesting updates to halo wars, the warthog one really caught my eye, i remember being able to basically hit the button and bam there was a hog, so the bump to 25 seconds build time should be about right. i also like the base cannon improvements, on legendary the cannons get pooped on so any gain to those will really help

beat dantes last night, took about 6.25 hours\r and it unlocked all kinds of other modes to play, one is like firefight for odst were you have to fight waves, another is mp which doesnt work till april. \r i still need to get the 666 hit combo lmfao

Why do you need a power cable with the bundle? It comes with and Xbox Slim that doesn't require it.

Yes, Kinect standalone comes with the power cable. \r \r When I was setting up the bundle last night, it did occur to me that the power cable was not included. I immediately thought \"but what if I want to move it to one of the other xboxes?\", then I just realized that this is a bundle with a targeted purpose of using the components together. Not including the cable keeps a redundant piece out of the per unit cost, and isn't going to be a problem for probably more than 90% of the people who bought bundles.

I finally broke down and bought New Vegas today, Gamestop's had it on sale new for $14.99 for weeks. Now I see why. I think maybe I'll wait until all DLC has been released and patched before I start playing it. This scares the hell out of me for DS3.

I loved Fallout 3 but i'm not touching Vegas until there's a GOTY ed. Maybe by then all the bugs will be worked out of it. Obsidian's doing Dungeon Siege 3 as well, deciding to pass on that even though I'd buy it if someone else was doing it.

I played through Vegas and didn't come across any \"game breaking\" glitches I know they are are present, but I guess I was lucky in my play through.\r \r I am a little disappointed that Valve will have nothing....I was hoping for at least a tease for Half Life 3...maybe I'll get lucky and they will do what Bethesda did with ESV and wait until VGAs.

Yeah, fuck that macro transaction bullshit. When I spend money on a console game I want a complete game. I don't mind DLC for quality additions, but not stuff necessary to play the game I already paid for. Once again EA has started something that other devs are going to follow. The gaming apocalypse is here, folks.\r \r And thats great news about EA taking another loss. I thought the shipping totals (notice those aren't sales totals) for Madden were very interesting. The only licensed game for most popular sport in the country is only shipping 3 million units across all platforms? I'm pretty sure thats a giant decline over the past 5 years. Good. @pp2---I'm with you on the macro thing...but i think it's a bit premature to think EA's losing money in the long run. They had to report their investment in BF3 as a loss because they have not received any money for it yet.\r \r also, madden has never outsold FIFA since the 360 came out. FIFA ships worldwide, and soccer is a much more popular sport outside of the US than football.

Yeah, I hear you about the FIFA v Madden thing but thats not what I was getting at. I'm just looking at the overall numbers for Madden. Does Madden come out on handhelds too? So lets just assume 3 platforms even though its more. That averages 1 million per platform. Whats the install base for all of those systems, 100-120 million? \r \r The only licensed product for the sport (so in theory the only one that should be worth a shit) and thats all you're pulling off in SHIPMENTS, not sales. That just makes me laugh and laugh. I'm sure you've read my Madden impressions, if not the bile is there for all to see. :)
