End Roadwork!

Every time I see this sign, it reminds me of a protest sign:

Like people are out campaigning to stop road workers from working. It's confusing, but I swear there's a light buzzing of voices in my head as I drive chanting "End Road Work! End Road Work!" and one guy saying things about our president.
