Deal Of The Century
Recently, while on a return trip from my parents house in West Texas, myself, Cutie and our three kiddos stopped at a Goodwill in Big Springs. While Cutie was cruising for deals on antique dishes for her mom I was wandering around the store and I happened across a box with a bunch of wires in it.
so I fumbled through it for a few seconds and came across this:
Oh man, is that?!?!?! Yep, I had just stumbled across quite a find. I poured through the box and took a quick inventory.
An Atari 2600 that looked brand new, no scratches, dings or marks. Not even dust. Complete with two joysticks, the paddles, 5 games with manuals!
Pac-Man, Demons to Diamonds, Combat, Real Sports Baseball and Burger Time.
At this point I was freakin out. I couldnt believe I was lucky enough to just happen upon a find like this. Then reality started poking at me.
Surely they are asking a pretty penny for something like this. And then I spot it - the price tag. That cant be right. No way. I find the store keeper and ask her. She assures me that the price is correct:
The words "Ill take it" flew out of my mouth at Mach 4 and slapped her in the face.
I just wish I could hook it up to Live.
